THE TEAM
As lead programmer and builder, I helped the team develop a robot for the VEX Robotics Competition. The work included mechanical design, programming, autonomous routines, and the communication work that goes into showing a team’s process.
WHAT I CONTRIBUTED
- Designed and programmed the autonomous skills route.
- Contributed to the robot’s design, build, and iteration process.
- Led the team’s social media, including Instagram and a filmed robot reveal.
- Helped translate the team’s technical work into something shareable.
RESULTS
The team earned the Excellence Award at the North Florida State Championship and qualified for the VEX World Championship. At Worlds, we reached division quarterfinals and earned the Design Award—an honor given to eight teams out of 480.
